Jason is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Florida. While in law school, he completed the Elder Law Clinical program at Wake Forest University, providing legal assistance to low-income senior citizens and disabled individuals. After graduation, he worked for a small firm in Winston-Salem, North Carolina fighting for disabled individuals seeking disability benefits from the Social Security Administration and injured workers seeking workers’ compensation benefits.
Attorney Quick then went to work for the Social Security Administration as a staff attorney for several years. He worked as a staff attorney in the Raleigh, North Carolina ODAR hearing office and the Philadelphia ODAR regional office, which was responsible for supervising all ODAR hearing offices in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C.. At Social Security, Attorney Quick provided legal research and decision writing services to the judges that decide disability claims and provided training to new attorneys and hearing office staff on SSA law, policy, and regulations.
Attorney Quick is a native of Southwest Florida and decided to return home to represent disabled individuals fighting for their benefits. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar, Florida Bar, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives (NOSSCR). He also has experience in VA disability claims and understands the special needs of veterans seeking disability through Social Security.
