Karen L. Nixon obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the American University in Washington, D.C. and her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University in Boston, MA.   Karen currently practices law in the state of Florida and the U.S. Eleventh Circuit, Middle District of Florida.

Over the years, Karen’s primary concentration has been representing numerous clients in Social Security disability appeals, however, she also has experience in employment law, Veterans Administration affairs, and personal injury.  Karen is an active member of the Lee County Bar Association and an officer in the Isaac Anderson Bar Association.   As a member of the Isaac Anderson Bar Association,  she has participated in numerous community events including a quarterly legal forum.  Karen is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) and has been a presenter at a NOSSCR conference. Karen has prior affiliations and/or memberships within the National Employment Lawyers Association, FL Chapter; National Association of Disability Representatives and other professional associations.
