Brian D. Johnson was born and raised in Newark, Illinois. He graduated from Newark Community High School in 1998 and Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois with high honors in 2002 with a B.A. in Communications. He then graduated from the Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2006. Before
graduating, Brian worked as a law clerk assisting the lead attorneys in the development of claims for Social Security Disability benefits.

In 2009 Brian began exclusively focusing on the area of Social Security Disability where he has been representing clients through the administrative disability and appeals process as well as in the Federal District Courts. Brian is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. He joined Kushner and Kushner Attorneys in 2021 and currently lives in Fort Myers, Florida with his wife and three children.
